All that you have ever wanted to know
I started off with a degree in Computer Science at The University of Kent in Canterbury back in 2001. During my time in my degree I was taught languages such as Java, XML/XSLT, PHP, and (X)HTML, and learned skills such as Software Development and Formal Specification. I graduated from Kent with a 2:1 B.Sc. with Honours.
During my time at Kent I did everything from being an elected officer for Kent Union, working as a bar man, and finally working for the University's Web Team.
I have written much code in my time, and now have a full time position working for the University of Kent as a web developer, specializing in writing web applications. Since I started in 2006 I have been in charge of completing many projects including e-commerce solutions that take £15million per year, to application systems that allow people to apply to study at the University through the clearing process.
Outside of my day job I keep up with all the modern trends, and teach myself new languages - most recently Objective-C, the language of iPhone apps.
I like change, and don't like to do the same thing over and over again. This is why when I create websites I do it in such a way to empower the customer, so that they get control of their site. You don't want to have to come back to me and be billed every time you spot a grammar or spelling mistake.
If you want a website or software solution then contact me. If you are not sure yet, then check out my work.
